The swimming facilities are for use by Providence Corners Homeowners Association members who have paid their HOA Current Year's Annual Assessment and their guests. Providence Corners residents who are not members of the HOA or members who have not paid their Current Year's Annual Assessment MAY NOT be guests.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
The pool season runs May 18 - September 15, 2024
· Access via your assigned key fob
· Pool Phone number: 770-973-9983
· Pool hours: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM daily. Guarded hours: 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM daily during CCSD summer break.
· Keep the bathroom doors inside the gate unlocked at all times. The outside door to the men’s room locks and is accessed by your key fob or card.
· If you are the last to leave at or before 9 PM, please lower and secure all umbrellas and ensure the pool gates and exterior bath door are locked.
The complete pool rules are listed below. We would like to bring special attention to a few of them:
· NO ONE may use the pool unless accompanied and supervised by legal guardian or an individual 18 years of age or older. No exceptions.

· NO SMOKING
· NO GLASS CONTAINERS in the pool or on the deck. If you bring a glass bottle, please put the contents in a plastic cup and dispose of the bottle. This is one of the most often violated rules. If glass is broken in the pool or on the pool deck, Cobb County requires a draining, cleaning and filling of the pool. We will charge the homeowner for this incurred cost.
· NO PETS ALLOWED inside the fence or on the pool deck.
· Please help to keep the pool and pool area nice and clean. Pick up and dispose of your trash in the provided container.
· Keep the main pool gate CLOSED at all times. Gate should NEVER be propped open.
2024 PCHA Pool Rules
The Providence Corners pool is available for use by members of Providence Corners Homeowner's Association and their guests as outlined below. In addition to the rules which follow, any rules posted at poolside shall be in effect.
1.General
1. The lifeguard has complete authority.
2. Unqualified swimmers shall stay in the shallow end unless accompanied by an adult.
3. Running or horseplay is not permitted in the pool area.
4. Diving
i. One person at a time on the diving board.
ii. Divers will swim clear of the diving area immediately and exit the pool via the ladder.
iii. Ensure that the area beneath the board is clear before diving.
5. People with communicable diseases, open sores or infectious eyes are not allowed in the pool.
6. Proper bathing attire is required.
7. Flotation equipment is allowed in the pool as follows:
i. All devices subject to the discretion of the lifeguard.
8. Glassware is NOT allowed in the pool or on the deck.
9. Bicycles, tricycles, skates, skateboards and other toys are not permitted in the pool area.
10. If you are the last to leave at or before 9 PM, please lower and secure all umbrellas and ensure the pool gates and exterior bath door are locked.
11. All PCHOA members should help to enforce the rules.
Schedule
1. Pool hours: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM daily. Guarded: 2:30 PM - 7:00 PM daily during CCSD summer break.
2. Once every hour, the Lifeguard will call a break for a period of 15 minutes. During this break, Lifeguards will not be on duty guarding the pool and neither the lifeguards nor the PCHOA is responsible for the people using the pool during the break. Upon the lifeguards request, children 17 and under shall be cleared from the pool during this time.
3. Parties held during off guarded hours must be supervised by a certified lifeguard.
i. PCHOA members must reserve the pool for a scheduled event and pay for the cost of the lifeguard during the event. Contact the Pool Chair, Tony Fordham, at tonyf66@icloud.com or Matt Holmes at

ii. The pool use occurs under the normal operating hours.
4. The pool may be closed at any time for safety, health, weather or operational reasons.
Guests
1. Pool guests must be accompanied by a Providence Corners member.
2. Guests must check in with the lifeguard upon arrival.
3. Providence Corners homeowners who are not members of the Association may not use the pool as guests.
Age Restrictions
1. Children not potty trained must wear a swim diaper and a tight fitting bathing suit while in the pool.
2. NO ONE may use the pool when lifeguard is not present unless accompanied and supervised by legal guardian or an individual 18 years of age or older.
3. At the discretion of the lifeguard, children between the ages of 9 and 17 years may be asked to complete a qualification test.
Babysitters
1. Upon arrival, babysitters must check in and inform lifeguard as to which children they are responsible for. Babysitters are responsible for watching the children which are in their care.
Penalties
A violation of pool rules which endangers the safety of self or others or is deemed as inappropriate behavior will result in the following action:
o First Offense – Violators will have their pool access restricted for two weeks.
o Second Offense – Violators will have their pool access restricted for the remainder of the pool season.
